CJSC FORUS Bank (Closed Joint-Stock Company “Fora – Opportunity Russian Bank”) is a bank for crediting micro and small businesses. The founder of the bank is FORA Fund for Small Business Support, Russia’s largest microfinance organization. FORUS Bank's Head Office is located in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.

We take advantage of the unique 15 years’ experience of our predecessor, FORA Fund and Opportunity International. Back in the early 90s, many of those who work in FORUS Bank today, provided the support for Russian businessmen by adapting international micro lending technologies to the Russian reality.

Today this knowledge is used in FORUS Bank to support private entrepreneurs in 29 regions of Russia. The products of FORA Fund, the first in Russia to offer a collateral free lending system, are laying the foundation for the financial programs developed in FORUS Bank. Thus, FORUS Bank following FORA is now offering group loans - a program which a decade ago made loans a lot easier to access.

Small business financing is just one type of service that FORUS Bank has to offer. Today cash and settlement service is available at our offices, with deposit and mortgage services expected to be started in the near future. In a year anyone will be able to open a deposit with FORUS Bank.
