FORUS Bank is launching the project "Mobile office", which will let our bank services be available for entrepreneurs of the most distant regional parts.

On the 17^th of March 2008 a conference “New opportunities for banking sphere development ” took place in FORUS Bank. It was devoted to the acquisition of savings license. Head of the Central Bank in Nizhny Novgorod Region Stanislav Spitsyn participated in the conference.

On the 5^th of March Bank of Russia Bank Supervision Committee made a resolution to issue Savings License for CJSC “FORUS Bank” .

In accordance with active legislation FORUS Bank becomes a member of deposit insurance system.

According to the words of FORUS Bank Chairman of the Management Board Yurina Tatyana Vladimirovna - acquisition of the license means successful recognition of bank development and opens a prospect both for the bank and for its clients.

On 19^th April, 2006, FORUS Bank held a ceremony of opening its first office for customers in Nizhny Novgorod. Nizhny Novgorod office is the first of 39 offices scheduled for opening by June 2006 in 26 regions of Russia. This will increase the number of FORUS Bank customers to 17,000.

FORUS Bank received €2 mln from Microfinance Loan Obligations (MFLO) (Switzerland) under the Micro and Small Business Development Program for Eastern Europe. FORUS Bank is Russia’s only bank involved in this program.

FORUS Bank started servicing plastic cards of payment system Visa Int. in cash offices. Now POS-terminals are installed in cash offices of the Bank in Nizhny Novgorod, Cheboksary and Voronezh, where clients can withdraw cash in RUR, USD and EUR using cards of international payment system Visa International and can get information on balance.

By the end of 2008 Bank plans to equip all cash offices with POS-terminals. Bank also intends to develop own ATM network.

Finance corporation issued a loan to FORUS Bank for microfinance purposes in the amount of RUR 120 mln. for 5 years. This agreement became practicable with support from OPIC(Overseas Private Investment Corporation).

Since July 21 new tariff rates on physical persons’ savings are established.

Revolving credit line enables a client after repaying a loan or its part to get a repeated loan within the established limits. Loan amount from RUR 200 000 up to RUR 7 000 000, credit line term is from 1 year to 2 years. This credit line is available in the following cities: Saint-Petersburg, Pskov, Petrozavodsk, Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Cheboksary, Arzamas, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Tambov.

New service “Internet banking” is introduced at FORUS Bank. Now FORUS Bank clients can easily manage their settlement accounts.

On the 6^th of March FORUS Bank was giving gifts to its clients, who took a loan during the period from the 1^st of February till 5^th of March, 2008.

From February 1, 2008 till March 31, 2008 FORUS Bank carries on a campaign “7 better than 8”. Clients who take a loan during this period for 8 months in the amount from RUR 10 thousand to RUR 500 thousand got the opportunity to pay interest on loan only for 7 months!

The loan in the amount of RUR 70 million (equivalent of € 2 million) was disbursed to FORUS Bank in December 2007. At a time when foreign markets are wavering in their support of Russian banks, the loan enables FORUS Bank to reliably provide loans to over 13,000 private entrepreneurs and small business enterprises, resulting in 6. 5 K jobs created and more than 27 K supported in 2007.
